Vermont, A Green Mountain Journey

This is a story of the Green mountains and the people who settled on the land and the changes they made. Subjects covered include legends of the Revolutionary War, the Morgan Horse, railroads, tourism and the granite industry. Viewers will follow a sugarmaker gathering sap with horses, take a sleigh ride, explore hidden covered bridges, talk with a farmer, visit a house on the Underground Railroad and stop at historic sites and museums from the Bennington Monument to the Ethan Allen Homestead.
