This live action video looks at the geological formation of North Carolina. Examination and study of the rocks show that they change from place to place within the state. The program then investigates the Coastal Plain Geology and then the Piedmont Geology. It also looks at the major geological formations found in this area including the Cambrian, Carboniferous, Triassic, Cretaceous, Tertiary and Quaternary.
